Gwen's 1st Camping Trip

For Memorial Day weekend we went to Costco and bought the biggest tent they had, and squatted on Angie and Ryan's camp site in Crystal Cove!  With a jam packed car we drove a far 20 minutes up the coast and felt like we were in another world.  The McCann's joined in on the fun and we all had a great fun filled family weekend.  Gwen loved the tent and thought it was her own massive playhouse.

The end of May is still chilly on coastal so cal so lucky for use the site had hook-ups and we had a space heater running all night to keep us toasty.  Gwen roaster her first marshmallows, played baseball and hung out with the big girls (Shea and Leah), she was in heaven.  Can't wait to go camping with Nina and Unk again!

Backyard Crashers!

Our first big home improvement project is underway and close to being done!  Sean and I decided to tackle the backyard as our first big homeowner challenge!  Our backyard has two tiers, the patio right out the backdoors, and a pretty steep yard area that perfect to watch the kids roll (unintentionally) downhill towards their death, but luckily stopped by an massive row of hawthorn plants.  Our yard would have been perfect for tobogganing, but seeing how we live at the beach the chance of snow is pretty much non-existent.  

Here are some before, during and yeah we have grass pictures!  Gwen is thrilled with the flat yard and as daddy was laying the grass Gwen went up, looked around, and said "Nice Grass!"  Sean said that statement made all the hard work and stress worth while.  

Thank goodness for friends and family for all their hard work and help!  Michael, Sean and Ryan after laying the last piece.  

June 2012, and now seems like as good of time as any to start blogging again.  Gwen is 2 and time isn't going any slower.  I am going to try to keep up with it so that way we have a little history on our day to day life for us to look back on in the future. Here's to an amazing life!!!

Well three months in to our marriage and we are still going strong!  And in order to keep up with the rest of our friend's lives we wanted to join you bloggers.  Don't worry about checking our site as we don't have kids and really just writing about Sean and I isn't that exciting.  But we look forward to following your guys' sites and watching your families and our friendships grow!
